Do asides automatically get put under “moar”or does an admin-type have to move it. If the former, how does anyone know that it is there?

Looks like an admin-has to move it.
It shows up automatically. Might take some time to hit an index somewhere. Issue — this theme doesn’t take advantage of post formats (such as image, aside), so for now that’s not working like I want.
Took me a while to figure out that the screen I was looking for (and the capability) went away with Mantra. Sigh.
The other test is a forum.
Now it’s in both places.
I know earlier this week, I made a comment and then I used an edit button. Now it seems I can’t find an edit button. (I think I had to work to find the edit button – like publish my remark, and then go to the dashboard and pull up my remark. Now I can’t find any edit button any where?)
Just commenting here to generate an edit button.
Now that is peculiar. I don’t have one either. May be tied to age of the OP, but it *should not be*.
Sigh.
Edited to add that it works.
oops: only works on your own posts and it looks like I could edit any of the comments here but not even my own comments on other people’s posts. “sigh” indeed.
Thank you for the reply.
I absolutely knew I had edited a comment, but couldn’t figure out why two days later the function did not exist. I am relieved to know I was not hallucinating my past editing effort and that I must have edited a comment on my post, but not on someone else’s post.
Hope you are seeing the exact situation as being explained by squidlet.
